Kasey May King (Monday, April 27, 2009)
Kasey May King was born on June 21, 1994, in Bedford to Kendall and Susan King. She went to be with her Lord whom she loved so dearly on Saturday April 25, 2009. She was 14 years old.
Kasey, or better known to all her friends and family as “KK,” was a precious and beautiful young lady; the kind of friend and lady who was beautiful inside and out. She loved God and was such a godly, kind and thoughtful Christian. She was truly a witness to all those who were fortunate enough to meet her. She adored and loved her family and friends dearly, and they loved her back passionately. You just couldn’t help but love this precious girl with whom God graced us all. She enjoyed softball in high school and cheerleading. She, however, decided to give up cheerleading this next year because she had a passion and love for animals and her goal was to become a veterinarian and graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in veterinary science. It was with much maturity and motivation that she gave up a love for cheerleading to dedicate herself more to her studies to achieve that goal. Kasey was the baby of the family of three beautiful and unique girls and she was the glue for their family with her happiness, her smile and her all-giving love.
Kasey has been greeted in heaven by her Savior Jesus and her beloved grandparents who have already passed before her, Bobby Gilbert Sr. and Jo Plunkett.
Those who are left here to cherish her memory are her parents, Kendall and Susan King of Jacksboro; her sisters, Sarah and Meagan King of Jacksboro; her grandparents, Don Ray King of Jacksboro, Lilly May West of Newport and George D. Plunkett of Weatherford; her aunt and uncle ,Donna and Jeff Graves of Jacksboro; and her three uncles, Bobby Gilbert Jr. of Arlington, Richard Gilbert of Denton and Bruce Gilbert of Fort Worth; Her Best Friend Destiny Hicks of Jacksboro and many other cousins, family members and dear friends.
